The only thing I’d ding is the breakfast buffet. Billy was helpful in giving me my full refund, as I didn't stay the night and booked a stay at another hotel.After 5 days of not receiving my deposit back, I called and was accused of stealing one of their pillows. The bed was comfortable but be weary of going up and down to use the bathroom if that's not your thing.We visited Solvang at the beginning of August with our canine family member. Located on an acre of meandering gardens with a Koi pond, the Wine Valley Inn offers old-world hospitality with a variety of accommodations for every taste and budget. Velkommen til Solvang in the beautiful Santa Ynez Valley, the heart of Santa Barbara County wine country. Stayed during January so the fireplace was one of the reasons I booked this hotel! Highly recommend it!This location was our first choice. The staff is kind, caring and helpful 2.

I was a bit nervous after seeing some negative reviews however we felt differently. Get the cobwebs down, scrub the bathroom and shower floor more carefully. The bathroom was fabulous! This recent stay I booked a loft, which included a king sized bed on the upper deck, and bathroom on the lower level. We also highly recommend the nearby Succulent Cafe for any meal although we only went for dinner. Meadowlark Inn is a Wine Country Retreat in the heart of the Santa Ynez Valley - . The pool and Jacuzzi are always heated to perfection 3. I only came across the friendliest of employees. This was not the case for all rooms, so maybe just bad luck on the room we got. Granted I came on a quiet weekend but it was so intimate. I absolutely loved the town but will never stay there again or refer anyone to this property!Check in was a little awkward, the girl was slow to react...kind of amusing but likely high. The towels were plentiful, new, and clean. A huge private patio enough to hold 10 or more people (but that's a NO in Covid times). Location. The rooms are furnished very nice, but there is little to no desk/counter space - none in the bathroom or main room, so it got cluttered quick with nowhere to set things down. ( It has the most amazing on…"As avid visitors of Solvang we had "our place" to stay until this trip. The room was super clean and large; it was perfect for three small pugs to move about. One hotel room door had a large gap even when locked, letting in lots of cold night air.
