I’m still scratching my head as to why I didn’t enjoy this more but I think a lot of it is because I feel the two leads didn’t have an awful lot of chemistry. I'm OBSESSED. (Some of these books have kissing. Also the book deals with more adult themes than YA themes.

Enemies to lovers, set against a beautiful tropical background - well yes, but the characters are fun and well drawn, the banter between them keeps coming, and the story gallops along as their relationship develops.

The whole book premise was just dumb and unimaginative, and I didn't even get a good read on the main character Ethan until the Epilogue, which was so unacceptable.
Not the worst book ever by a long shot but for me not the hilarious, can’t put it down book I was hoping it would be. I think I also missed the dual POV which would have given us a clue into Ethan’s thoughts. Some of these books have A LOT of kissing.
