Even if you have a hard time to find work they promise you work but nothing will be available ...After reading the reviews of the hostel was very nervous what I would be turning up to!! The kitchen equipment is so bad and less. After being there for 2 months, they cleaned my room for the first time. I think this is the perfect hostel if you want to do you 88 days of farm work.
I stayed one night and had to leave!
BBQ Grill The consistently take new guests in despite knowing they cannot supply them with work. By the time I left I had been there for 7 weeks and hadn't got a single days work through the hostel.

It is rather institutional and poorly-maintained and features a huge swimming pool, a bar, laundry, internet access ($4 per hour) and a barbecue, but there are mostly workers staying here, so the atmosphere is lacking. On the positive side I can mention that they have a good location on the main street in Ayr. Hot Showers Some guys were waiting about 4 weeks for work. Lounge Area Did anyone win it? So just push through the pain and get on with it and even though it may not feel it.

You can come in contact with so many different people and make some good experience. After a hard working day you can just jump into the pool and take a refreshing.
By far the best working hostel I have stayed in! I was told i'll have work in a week and after 4 weeks of waiting I gave up!
