Tornadoes caused destruction, power lines were knocked down and one wind gust reached 114 mph in Murrells Inlet as the Myrtle Beach, SC area was hit … In Ocean Isle Beach, North Carolina, where Isaias came ashore, flooding reached 3 feet in some areas, Mayor Debbie Smith told WECT-TV. The NWS team determined the damage was caused by an EF-0 tornado with winds of 85 MPH.
