I encourage all you haters to leave! I love the town fairs, the rodeo, the way people will open a door for you.
I think if you really asked most people why they hate it they wouldn’t be able to give you valid reason.
Fresno cant deliver those things but if your looking for a decent place to work own a home and raise a family it isnt that horrible really.Sheila, I suggest Tempe Arizona near the ASU campus if you want to party and such. I wish the Falcons would go back to playing at Selland since it's the SAME SIZE, just less seats squashed in it. lots of people don't have much money (not just college students, but there are many low-income folks and families in fresno) and i think someone (the city, companies, museums, organizations, etc) is obligated to provide free or cheap events, entertainment, public gathering centers, safe places to hang out, etc for folks who don't have much (or any) money. More jobs are needed and we need a better educated workforce. There isn't much wind for the bad air to get out of. Fresno is within X amount of miles of folks who had a DS 694 and folks who had an iPhone when they were 10 years old. This time they're coming to Fashion Fair.about the events costing money: i don't think it's fair to dump on people who want free events. They have all the major stores that we have here in the Bay area, and a lot of restaurants and places to eat. If you're lazy, whiney, jealous and hang with losers, you're gonna have a bad time.Nailed it.
Miss my ghetto; miss my taco trucks, really I miss good mexican food all together.
of traffic. Maybe it's because the city itself is in such conflict.
Patrick, you have an ax to grind against Fresno. Why do people have to make it so hard to make friends in F-no?Fresno sucks? Given how many complaints I've read about Bluetooth on Windows, I can only assume there are on-going issues with the stability.good luck with anyone reading this getting it sorted + if you have any tips to fix this, please share :)I am about ready to see if bluetooth is better on linux. Lets try to keep some of the classic places that aren't in Riverpark, and all over the state, around long enough to really evolve into something great. Wouldn't live there if you gave me a house. We are into conservation and would like to cut down our carbon footprint. It is great up here in the bay the night life is great, some of the people are great, some are crazy.
The folks I've met here - on the job, at the supermarket, at the gas station, in the restaurants and bars - have all be very frendly, helpful and welcoming.
Lovely. Honestly, you can keep the City and the crappy air that everyone claims is so good--it's cruel to say they have better air. If I'm using them on IOS, or Mac OS the connection is totally solid & reconnection is reliable. I'd never had issues in other cities I'd lived in and once I moved to Fresno, my car has been broken into an average of 1.5 times a year in my time living here (mind you, in ALL parts of the city - Tower, downtown, mid, and North.
There's nothing wrong with that, considering change implies progression, but that may imply only the strongest will survive. That said, Fresno is a hell of a lot better than it used to be.mmm, Oakland, huh? Seriously who designed that?Thats all I have to bitch about, yeah the air is especially bad especially these past few weeks but that comes and goes. Why is Windows 10 Bluetooth so so so bad ? i swear if there is anybody living in a suburb or tract home in north fresno, northeast fresno, clovis, even se in sunnyside complaining needs to be slapped. I know, it took me a long time to realize I couldn't grow unless I moved to a bigger city.
Great place to live and within driving distance to Fresno for work!Touche Patrick . !Fresno doesn't suck. I cannot even fathom attempting to SIT at concert that I just paid 120+ dollars for and have to stick my knees under my chin in order to sit in those damn pathetic seats they have. oh yea being in the bay area, when I go to fresno, I notice driving is improved.
I encourage all you who hate it here so much to move there--taste the water, breath deeply and then say how bad it is here. In addition to the Valley’s unique geographic and meteorological conditions, it’s also a growing population center. Good luck and by the way, I've been working in Crockett, by Martinez for 6 MONTHS and NO-ONE there knows how to friggin drive, use a turn-signal or smile. Just check out the Fresno Bee's Friday insert, 7, to see all the offerings.
Bay area transplant in 2002 and I'm still here 15 years later and I doubt I'll ever go back to the Bay Area. with all their socialists policies I don't want posh.
You would think that the same technology would work the This Yelper's account has been closed. )My older family who have lived in Fresno all their lives always complain about this city and how it’s either too boring and small or how it’s growing too fast and how there’s big city crime.
At heart it's a farm town.
