You have an aquatic dinosaur on the loose, coming onto land, killing people whilst a beautiful female scientist and her chums seek to do something about it. Poseidon Rex is about an aquatic dinosaur that is woken from its slumber to kill people in a not overly gory CGI way, usually by wiping out their boat along with the passengers.
Between that and watching a dinosaur stomp around it's possible to derive some mild enjoyment from this if you aren't very picky. I can't believe the low score it's getting. I have not watched it to the end but my burning question up until now is: how did a single dinosaur reproduce? If you want a great story...same answer. My favorite part was when the monster wasn't even aware of them and running in the opposite direction chasing some other people and the hero decided to "distract" the monster by getting it to turn around and run back in their direction. Not of monsters, but of the islands off the mainland of Belize. Too ridiculous. This movie is all you think it will be an less.
