The thing about Prescott is that it’s in the mountains, at a relative high elevation at 5,400 feet, higher than Denver, CO, at 5,280 feet. It is 11 degrees right now and it's supposed to drop to 3 tonight. It only got to 22 degrees F today.

The Hualapai mountains which is 15 miles from kingman and a steep straight uphill drive dominates the skyline of Kingman and does get a lot of snow (2-3 feet a year).
