Hickory Creek is a tributary of Shoal Creek, Shoal Creek flows into Spring River, then the Neosho River, and into the Arkansas River.
It extends for more than 5,000 miles (8,000 km) to within 500 miles (800 km) of both the North Pole and the Equator and has an east-west extent of 5,000 miles. The Hickory Creek headwaters are east of Neosho near Aroma at an elevation of 1265 feet above sea level. It lives in two streams in Missouri and two in Colorado. Oklahoma, constituent state of the United States of America. The point north of Neosho where Hickory Creek flows into Shoal Creek is 981 feet above sea level.
