If you do not have an umbrella you may not last long there as the sun is super super hot. The white sand and crystal green water is all we needed to enjoy our day in Bahamas.Be prepared for an onslaught of people selling you things...water, banana boat, jet ski, coconut...taxi back! It adjoins the Atlantis and RIU hotels and stretches all the way from those hotels down to the Ocean Club Estates.
Although all beaches are "public," Atlantis made it almost impossible to get to the most exclusive parts of the beach. If you take a cab, you can ask them to drop you off at the free beach access. Really beautiful and clean beach.
