Luckily, 2 of the people in my group come to Sonoma frequently and told us the other tapas restaurant in town is actually amazing so we went there instead (they don't take reservations so it worked out for us). !On the first evening of our first visit to Sonoma we dined at Oso.
The shrimp tacos and their chicken sandwich are outstanding. I enjoyed the shrimp and grits when we visited and it was a taste of the south! Oso sonoma. They allowed us to bring our dog. Service was not "bad" but the waiter almost seemed upset with us after we ordered and told him we were sharing. We actually ordered another plate of those to share. Parking on weekend prime times might be a little challenging but there looks to be lots of side streets to try your parking luck.We came in for happy hour on the Wednesday before 4th of July at 5:00pm and we had the place to ourselves! The baked oysters were phenomenal- sooooo tasty. The appetizers were decent. He constantly checked in on us and made sure we were good! restaurant look very clean. I'd highly recommend Oso.We had both lunch and dinner here, Our food we have was delicious and good presentation. 7/10/2020. Useful.
