Immediately adjacent to the village of Cloudcroft is the Deerhead Campground. Water (first five gallons free), trash disposal, and firewood are available for a few bucks, but you’re welcome to bring your own and pack out to save that skrilla for a delicious burrito too. A group of friends and myself decided to try this place, it was recommended by another friend, it is very easy to get there, as soon as you enter the place you realize is a very quiet zone, meaning that even if you're only speaking to your folks, the near camps will hear you.
