We found it disappointing that we were told that dinner is available in the place, however after our tour we were just told to go out for dinner to the village as they will not serve us dinner.
We saw 8 types.... Violet Sabrewing, green hermit, coppery headed emerald, rufous tailed Hummingbird, green crowned brilliant, white bellied Mountain Gem, violet headed hummingbird and black bellied Hummingbird. In the lesser known but absolutely enchanting Bajos del Toro, it is tucked away above the village and has an open dining area packed with hummingbirds who you can watch zipping about and feeding as you eat your breakfast.
