I had what turned out to be the best takeout hamburger I have had in my life. Website +1 831-464-2583. Food it really good and portions are huge so make sure you take your appetite....Small pub right on the beach. Support this great business!! A little later the bird comes back and lands next to my plate. They have been doing such a wonderful job of transitioning to serving the needs of the community and deserve a shout out for their wonderful service and foods that are very evidently made with love.Just finished a wonderful meal from these good folks.

Being a Brit, I was obliged to check it out and was very pleased I did. Artichoke was not cleaned...So I was walking along the beach in Capitola, a first time visitor, and saw the Britannia. Had the fish and chips. He looked at us and seemed irritated and didn't even greet us. He made me and my friend a Cucumber Martini which was perfectly strong enough with glass of water. ... hot and cold sandwiches, breakfast and dail... Bar scene. Will visit again when we are back in CapitolaGot the food to go quick convenient tasty food. But we didn't really get any attention so then finally we ask for the check and me and my friends don't really like to tip using card, we like to tip in cash so we sign the check and head over to the car (it was parked in front of the restaurant by our table) to grab some cash because we didn't have any with us and as we are about to open the car one of the waiters comes up to us. We went anyway hoping for the best.
