They were so much fun and on the way out I struck up a conversation with both of them. Fat Cat's Cafe! We make a point of going for breakfast Egg Benedict when we are traveling through the area.I go out of my way to get down here for a bowl of clam chowder.

We lucked into one of the tables with a view down to the water below the pier.. Dinner was pricey but very good. !Great service, great food! The coffee had a decent flavour and strength and came in a decent sized mug.

We parked our car on land and just walked, wich gave us the opportunity to take some closeups of sea lions on the walk back from the restaurant. Being from New England, we are picky about our seafood but everything was perfect and our waiter could not have been nicer or more helpful.

I don't care what they say about the sugar chowder in Pismo, this is the place to go for chowder that actually has CLAMS in it! The interior and music hasn't changed, but the prices and the hours have. Always a nice welcome. They have a great sirloin steak too. I really recommend this place!!! Didn’t even have to ask for my bacon to be cooked crisp. Not bad but not what I expectedwent for dessert, we had 3 of them (1 apiece!!) Sprout and bacon soup was delicious.You get a warm welcome from the staff and the bacon sandwiches are excellent, real bacon and real bread.The staff were wonderful. Nothing thrown in the microwave from a bag or a frozen box. The servers and table help were all fantastic and attentive!
