Furniture was sharp angled (I have bruises) and old and the linens and curtains were shabby. Nice continental breakfast assortment in the morning--we didn't go to the restaurant. The decor is slightly less modern, and I agree that the shower itself could be replaced (water was warm and good pressure though). Even though they don't provide a coffee maker I brought a Gourmia GK320 Travel Foldable Electric Kettle, which worked really well (with Medaglia D'Oro Espresso Instant Coffee, which is excellent). Can’t wait to go back!
It’s a beautiful view highly recommend it. Also, if you stay on the bottom floor, you can hear the people upstairs walking around. If you’re vegetarian/vegan the menu is a bit limited.We stayed in Room 24 for 3 nights, which may be the largest room. My husband plugged in a charger to the wall socket and it promptly fell out and down to the floor. But it’s a wonderful place to stay. If a woman named Nellie is behind the desk "Run for the hills"! Great view an private location but toooo busy to care . The bathroom is large and has a jacuzzi tub.
